6 Tonne Cable Hauling Capstan Winch Range
Morse Power introduce our 6 Tonne/60 kN cable hauling capstan winch, following on from the success of the 5 Tonne capstan. Morse Power has now designed and engineered a more powerful capstan with increased capstan head diameter and duty cycle. This new unit is fitted with the 7 inch touch screen PLC that allows the operator to program the line tension from 10kN’s right through to the maximum 60 kN’s to suit each wire application. The screen displays line tension and distance instantly for the operator. To safe guard the operator the PLC visually changes the screen colours, 0 to 74% the screen is green, at 75% load and above the screen turns orange, at 100% load the screen turns red and the pre-set line tension is maintained.
The data logger comes standard with the new model recording both tension and distance at pre-set intervals allowing the operator to upload this information onto a memory stick/USB devise which can be provided to the customer. This new model allows the owner the flexibility to take on numerous jobs with one machine. Our internal QA systems coupled with Rexroth componentry and their Australia wide network of technical advice and spare parts gives the owner confidence in the longevity and reliability of this new, multipurpose capstan winch. Engine options are our ever popular Caterpillar or Kohler industrial engines which are proving to run cooler and more efficient than other units making them ideal for harsh Australian conditions.
