Concordia Soccer Club is pleased to announce another season of 7v7 League play. Over the years with the help of it’s participants the league has established itself as an enjoyable adult soccer experience for both the Men’s and Coed Divisions. This summer’s season will include the new Men’s Open Divsion and a Men’s 35+ Division and will again include a complimentary end of season party in our pavilion during the final weekend of games with food and drinks for all the participants! All Games will be played outdoors at Lenau Park between 7:00pm-10:00pm under the lights. Games Start: Friday, June 3rd 2016 (Men’s Division); Saturday, June 4th 2015 (Coed Division) Cost: $400 per team + $13 per team/per game referee fees Registration: Registration this year is entirely done on our website... www.concordiasoccerclub.com You will need to navigate to the 7v7 League page and register your team. This new feature will stream line the registration and scheduling process. As a registered team you will have your own dedicated team page which will allow you and your team to view league schedules, rosters, etc. Once you create an account, you will have the ability to select your desired divsion and payment options. With this new system, verbal committments are no longer being accepted and registered teams will be the only ones that will be scheduled. Important Notes: Team waiver forms must be signed and turned in before the start of your first game, no exceptions. Completed and signed forms can be emailed to... [email protected] Referee fees ($13 per team/per game) are to be paid in cash before the start of each game. Failure to do so will result in a forfeit. Change is available at the bar inside the club. There is limited space available in all three Divisions and teams will be accepted once payment is received in full, no exceptions. There are currently more teams interested than the league can accommodate so don’t hesitate. Final Note: The league is always enjoyable because of the integrity of it’s participants. With that said please follow the rules and respect each other while at Concordia. If you need to borrow players from another team because you are short, that is fine. If you bring players that are under the age requirement, engage in any fighting, or fail to field a team for any games you will not be invited back. Don’t be that team! Friday Night Men’s League Rules 8 Week Schedule Starting Friday, June 3rd • (8) Game Session • (7) games plus a final weekend of seated play (1 vs 2, 3 v 4, etc.) • Round Robin play with records determined by points; (3) win, (1) draw, (0) loss • Tie Breakers in order: Head to head, Goal Differential, goals for, goals against, coin toss • (7) players on the field per side including the goal keeper • (2) halves of 25 running minutes with a 5 minute half time • 45yd x 70yd fields with 7’ x 21’ goals; size 5 ball • * Men’s Open Division = All players must be 18 years of age or older to participate • * Men’s 35+ Division = All players must be 35 years of age or older to participate • No slide tackling; No offsides • Games cancelled due to weather will be rescheduled on a Weekday Night TBD
