A GOLDEN WEEKEND IN WEHO FOR THE GOLDEN GLOBES By: Brittany Nicole La Hue

Brand-new Herringbone at Mondrian Hotel West Hollywood truly is the “Heart of LA,” and awards season makes this very clear. Although many of the actual ceremonies are held in Los Angeles, the stars still reconvene in West Hollywood for the epic after parties. Read below to find out where your favorite stars will be celebrating the Golden Globes this year! West Hollywood has been partying all week to kick off the awards season. From the annual Audi Golden Globes party at Cecconi’s to the Third Annual Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts at the Sunset Marquis Hotel. Saturday, January 11 will be one for the record books, with 5 different celebrations happening in WeHo. In the morning, BOA Steakhouse opens for the Film Independent Filmmaker Grant and Spirit Awards Nominees Brunch. The ceremony isn’t until March, but why postpone an excellent party and anything involving mimosas? Next up is the DuJour Magazine Golden Globes party, held at the brandnew Herringbone restaurant (officially opens Thursday, January 16) at the Mondrian hotel. CAA takes over ultra-exclusive SoHo house for a gathering, then clears out for the CBS Nominees Celebration at 8:30 p.m. CBS and Showtime will honor nominees from “Masters of Sex,” “The Big Bang Theory,” “The Good Wife” and “Inside Llewyn Davis.” Wrapping up the night is the HBO and Anonymous Content party at Italian restaurant RivaBella, honoring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson. After the presentation of the Golden Globes on Sunday, January 12, ecstatic winners and goodnatured losers will visit the Sunset Tower Hotel for the exclusive CAA fete. Image courtesy of UrbanDaddy
