Australian Turf Club Limited (ABN 81 148 157 288) (“ATC”) Royal Randwick Royal Randwick Harrolds Fashion Chute (“Competition”) TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. The promoter of the Competition is the Australian Turf Club Limited (ABN 81 148 157 288) of Royal Randwick Racecourse, Alison Road, Randwick, NSW 2031, telephone: +61 2 9663 8400 (Promotor). 2. The Competition is a game of skill not chance. The Competition will be judged by a judging panel consisting of four judges selected by the Promoter (Panel). By entering the Competition or accepting a prize, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 3. The Competition will be conducted at The Championships Day 2 on Saturday 14 April 2018 between 10.00am AEDT and 2.45pm (“The Championships Day 2”).

The Finalists must present themselves at the Royal Randwick Harrolds Fashion Chute enclosure on the Octagonal Lawn at 2.00pm AEDT on The Championships Day 2 where they will be given instructions for The Championships Day 2 Harrolds Fashion Chute Final (HFC Final) where the finalists will be judged and announced. If they do not present themselves they will be disqualified and the next placed entrant who can be contacted by the Promotor may be given a place in the Final. Any Finalist who has altered their outfit in any way for the Finals will be disqualified. 11. The Finalists must be on stage at the HFC Final at 2.15pm AEDT on The Championships Day 2 where the Panel will judge the Finalists and select the best three entrants according to the Judging Criteria (Winners). The announcement of the Winners will take place immediately after judging. 12. The prizes in the Competition for the Winners with a total retail prize value of either $11,023.95, are: Best Dressed Women’s Racewear (a)
4. In order to enter the Competition, entrants must have their photo taken by the Harrolds Fashion Chute photographer at the Fashion Chute located on the Octagonal Lawn or Members Marquee. Photos can only be taken individually and photos of more than one person will not be accepted. Entrants must also register their entry at the registration desk between 10.00am and 1.00pm AEDT by filling out the entry form to provide all required contact details (Registration). Entrants will receive a copy of their photo by SMS to the phone number provided with their Registration. 5. Once an entrant has registered, they are not permitted to alter their outfit in any way. 6. An aesthetically pleasing autumn racing outfit styled with shoes and accessories. The outfit must reference autumn racing dress codes and incorporate current trends, while expressing your own personal style. Sophistication, creativity and individuality are key. Usual Members dress codes limitations do not apply. Women must wear a headpiece or fascinating element while adhering to the autumn dress code (i.e. no straw millinery). Preference is for closed toe shoes however this is not essential, (Judging Guidelines).
7. Entrants must be 18 years of age or more on The Championships Day 2 and a resident of Australia. Proof of age must be provided at the time of Registration. 8. Entry to the Competition will be refused or an entrant disqualified if an entrant does not comply with these Terms and Conditions. The ATC reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and disqualify any entrant for tampering, or attempting to tamper with the entry process. 9. At the close of Registration, the Panel will select a maximum of twelve finalists from all valid entries judged according to the Judging Criteria (Finalists). The Finalists will be notified by telephone between 1.15pm AEDT and 1.30pm AEDT on The Championships Day 2. Any Finalist who does not answer their phone to confirm their acceptance will forfeit their place as a Finalist and the next placed entrant will take their place.

13. Prize values are correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between the date of printing and the ultimate date on
which the prize is taken. All prizes must be taken as offered. Prizes cannot be transferred, exchanged or redeemed for cash and may not be on-sold. 14. If a prize is unavailable for any reason the ATC may substitute a prize of equivalent value.

Officers, management and staff and their immediate families of the ATC, judges and the Competition sponsors and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter the Competition. 16. Winners must contact the ATC on Monday 16 April 2018 between 9.00am AEDT and 5.00pm AEDT to arrange for collection of their prize. 17. In the event an element of the prize is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the winner forfeits the specified element and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the prize.
18. Entry details and the photos taken at the Harrolds Fashion Chute remain the property of the Promoter. Entrants’ personal information provided in connection with this Competition will be handed by the Promoter in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, which is available at http://www.australianturfclub.com.au. The personal information collected is collected for the purposes of facilitating the conduct of the Competition and awarding the prizes and for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. The Promoter may enter all personal information provided in relation to the Competition and other related documentation into a database. An entrants’ personal information will only be used by or disclosed to the Promoter and its related bodies corporate, agents and contractors and sponsors for these purposes. The entrant may opt out of receiving future publicity, marketing and promotional material, by contacting the ATC. 19. Entrants agree they may be filmed, photographed and/or interviewed and that their names and images may be used by the ATC, its sponsors and other third parties for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. 20. Each winner of the Competition grants the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use the photos entered into the Competition in all media worldwide and the winners and runners up will not be entitled to any fee for such use. 21. In entering the Competition the entrant accepts these terms and conditions, and agrees that neither the ATC nor the Competition’s sponsors nor any of their personnel are liable for any costs, loss, damage or injury arising directly or indirectly from entry into the Competition. 22. The Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability or merchantability of any goods or services offered as prizes. The Promoter and its related bodies corporate, their officers, employees, agents and sponsors will not be liable for any loss, damage, costs or personal injury whatsoever (including but not limited to direct, indirect and consequential loss, or loss of profit or any other economic loss) suffered or sustained by any person or property, by reason of any act of omission, deliberate or negligent, in connection with the Competition, the promotion and advertising of the Competition or accepting or the use of any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent allowable by law). 23. If any act, omission, event or circumstance occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter and which prevents the Promoter from complying with these Terms and Conditions, the Promoter will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations and the
Promoter reserves the right (subject to any applicable law) to cancel, terminate or modify or suspend this Competition. 24. Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prizes. 25. The Promoter’s decision and the Panel’s decision in relation to any aspect of the Competition is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into. 26. These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales and entrants agree to submit to the nonexclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales. 27. The Promoter may vary these Terms and Conditions at its discretion, subject to state government legislation.
