The structures deliver free-standing, multi-level solutions for structures or high-ceiling spaces such as tradeshows, factories and warehouses. They can be assembled quickly, with minimal labor, and re-assembled multiple times with little wear and tear. You can create complex or simple geometric shapes and incredible curved or angled cuts to make your space truly unique. The possibilities are unlimited. Using 3D modeling and smart technology, the level of accuracy for DIRTT’s wood structures is +/- .01 mm (that’s the size of a hair). DIRTT uses a mix of wood and steel connections to achieve the architectural design requested. Engineered wood dovetail connections are precisely cut by the CNC machine and used for post/latch and header/joint connections. Wood construction results in less waste material, less energy and is considered more carbon neutral than many other materials, contributing to its sustainable nature. All of the wood is sourced from sustainably managed and harvested forests (FSC or PEFC). The DIRTT Timber Frame approach is sustainable, using ethically sourced materials, scalable to any location, and integrates with DIRTT Walls or any other complimentary architectural features.
