Amy Pope for super work in Literacy, sequencing and writing a sentence for the story ‘Room on a Broom’. Numeracy – Poppy Holl and Lily Hunt for super work in Maths for describing different heights. Class 4—Mrs Mole Harry Simms for working hard when writing this week about his holiday news. Oliver Mitchell for producing a super piece of writing about his holiday to Barmouth. Oliver Harper was a super star when measuring this week. He progressed through challenge 1, 2 and 3. Class 5—Mrs Kent Mathematics: Tony Campbell and Lauren Brown – for showing a good understanding of division as sharing. Dylan Bunce-Sweeney – for giving excellent feedback in his peer-marking. Topic: Pretty Loussakou and Max Coleyshaw – for making wonderful posters about Guy Fawkes in her own time. Madison Maycock – for her great poster about Guy Fawkes. Maths – Ethan Perry and Rhea Brazier for their fantastic mental addition this week. Keep believing, you can do it! Base – Harry Walker for super effort with his reading. He is reading more regularly at home and it’s nice to see him showing an interest in the books he reads. Raian Ahmed for always being ready to learn and for working his socks off in every lesson. Maths - Jak Bourne and Tori Haney- For brilliant work adding 1s, 10s and 100s to 3-digit numbers. They also applied their knowledge to answer missing number problems. Class - Jayden Hill- For a big improvement and showing great enthusiasm during ‘Reading Detectives.’ Sophie Cook and Azra Rahman- For excellent work in science looking at plants. They conducted a fantastic investigation looking at the water transportation in plants. Well done girls! Class 9—Miss Diggett
English: Ruby Shepherd and Haydon Stott: fantastic contributions and enthusiasm during our reading of ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory’. Base: Harpreet Kandola and Paige Hooper: for being really helpful members of the class – well done! Maths: Benjamin Jukes and Corie Harris: for persevering with column addition (including carrying) – you found it difficult at first but you believed and achieved. Excellent work. Class 10—Mrs Grice
Maths – Maddison Janes for working hard on translating shapes. She hasn’t found it easy but she persevered and has improved. Keep it up! Alexander Fletcher-Islam for completing work at home when off sick. The calculations were finding fractions of amounts and he has worked hard with his mom to complete all the questions. Well done! Topic – Kyle Saunders for his fabulous 2A sentence with a simile to describe the giant earthworm while writing another chapter for ‘The Iron Man’. Holly Reynolds-Fletcher – for always being ready to work. I can depend on her to listen and follow instructions. Holly is a pleasure to have in class. Attendance Award – Class 11 (100%)

You are beginning to work very effectively with your buddy to improve yourself. Well done! Owen Haney- for really focusing in English this week. I know it’s a subject that you’re not confident with but with your hard work and dedication, you will succeed! Leon Thompson and Charley Tickle- for generally being a pleasure to have in my classroom! You brighten my day and you are always willing to help and assist others! Thank you! Class 12—Mrs Raxworthy-Cooper Jack Baker - in English - writing fantastic sentence types and perservering to improve his work – tortoise! Nathan Summers – great attitude to work – trying his best, being independent and enthusiastic and wanting to do more and more – tiger! Maths - Sophie Edis for growing confidence in maths and challenging herself – beaver! Leah Groves - fantastic column method work, very neat presentation and brilliant understanding of how to complete her learning journey – owl! Class 13- Miss Kelsey Maths – Isabelle Stanley and Rohan Bassi – for fantastic work on using coordinates in all 4 quadrants. You moved on to Ch3 straight away – very impressive! Base – Joe Page – for a fantastic written assessment – I’m so proud of you. Keep it up! Jenna-Jaine Fitzgerald – for a fabulous diary entry over the half term telling us all about Dave’s (our class minion) adventures. Class 14-Mrs Gallagher Samay Braich and Tanjim Begum – for their great attitudes in lessons. They always persevere with their learning and challenge themselves every day. Well done! Jagjeet Kandohla – for always making super contributions to discussion. He was able to explain what the British values of tolerance and liberty mean very clearly to the rest of the class this week.
