Achievement Award Friday 18 November 2016

Nursery – Miss Smith, Mrs Evans & Mrs Daniels Jack Costigan- For super tidying up and always being willing to help his friends. Ashleigh Drew- For designing what she wanted to make and using the construction materials to make it. Her ‘butterfly’ was amazing! Diego Bragoli- For being a kind friend and for always thinking of his friends.

Class 1 Miss Edis Garland Russell-Nock – for coming in to school happily – it’s lovely to see your smile! Jake Brown – for doing fantastic work with Miss Marriott! His sounds are really coming on!

Class 2—Miss Evans Navreet Hothi – Navreet got ready so quickly for P.E. and even helped one of her friends who found it really hard. Kaleb Langford – Kaleb was able to match candles to the correct number on a variety of birthday cakes.

Achievement Award Friday 18 November 2016 Class 3—Mr Clarke Filip Lemancyzk – well done for your great work on your role play of Goldilocks and the 3 bears! You remembered all the important parts of the story and acted it out fantastically! Keep up this fantastic enthusiasm!  Phoebe Russell – You have been doing fantastic work with shape in your numeracy! You can with confidence name and highlight the properties of 2d and 3d shapes! Absolutely smashing! 

Class 4—Mrs Aggarwal Freya Robbins - Fantastic role playing this week! You took on the role of Goldilocks and you confidently performed back to the rest of the class using a loud and clear voice! Well done! Thomas Vann - You have tried incredibly hard with your writing this week. You created a super WANTED poster for Goldilocks and described her using great adjectives. Well done!

Class 5—Miss Kelsey Rosie-Mai Dudley – for fantastic homework on The Great Fire of London. You could tell me all about Samuel Pepys and where and when the fire started. What great research! Aadam Semmoudi – for a great diary entry about your snowman adventure. You remembered your targets and were able to write at length using capital letters, adjectives and full stops. You even remembered your sticky letters 

Class 6-Mrs Fitzgerald Owen Horton- For writing a fantastic diary entry as though you were James from ‘The Snowman’ You included so much detail and used adjectives, adverbs, 2a and 3a sentences. I was so impressed! Olivia Fallon- For brilliant work on your 2, 5 and 10 times tables. You even managed to divide by these numbers and then solve problems. Well done Olivia! You are a maths superstar!

Achievement Award Friday 18 November 2016 Class 7—Ms Uddin Lauren Brown – You have shown a fantastic understanding of adding fractions this week. You have remembered that the denominator always stays the same when adding fractions. I was really impressed by the effort you put in this week in maths. Shae Buckley – Although you were off poorly last week, you came back to school with a smile on your face. You engaged straight away into our topic lessons and have worked hard this week.

Class 8—Mrs Grice Tora-Jai Law has shown super confidence in maths this week. We have been working on fractions, including finding tenths, halves, quarters and fifths. Keep it up Tora-Jai, YOU ARE DOING A FAB JOB! Charlie Smith has developed in confidence and is working independently in all lessons. His attitude to learning is excellent.

Class 9—Mrs Walker-Gordon Corey Hill- for improving his handwriting and presentation. You think carefully about the work that you produce. Maizie Gater- for brilliant problem solving in maths. You solved some really tricky problems involving fractions and decimals. 

Class 10—Miss Newman Daniel Humpage - For contributing fantastic ideas this week throughout our topic lessons and developing his drama skills to show his understanding of similes and personification. Zoe Lloyd - For working really hard with fractions and equivalent fractions this week in maths and through her diligence she was able to successfully move through the challenges. Achievement Award Friday 18 November 2016 Class 11—Miss Harrison Benjamin Jukes – This week Ben has given some fantastic ideas during our shared write. He has created an interesting story of redemption including great vocabulary and dialogue. Rubyrose Millard – Rubyrose has been away for 2 weeks after having an operation and has returned to school as determined as always. She is trying hard to catch up with the work she has missed and achieving particularly well in maths. Class 12—Mrs Raxworthy-Cooper Cody Bradnick for being a superstar in all of his learning this week – extra reading, writing narrative and working out fractions of numbers. He has been a bee working with others and an owl evaluating his learning  Paige Hooper for being like the tortoise and persevering in all of her work. It’s great to see Paige’s confidence grow every time she meets her challenge – keep believing and achieving  Class 13- Miss Jones Leah Groves: Contributing in class and producing Y6 quality work- Well done! Toby Davis: Positive attitude in Maths and during the Science Live! lesson- Well done! Class 14-Miss Usher Shauna Mandengu: For sculpting a beautiful, clay poppy to commemorate fallen soldiers from WW1. It was a hard task but from a simple lump of clay, she created a masterpiece! Kane Finnegan: For his enthusiasm and interest in our class novel. Kane has become really engaged with War Horse and even bought the book from the book fair! He always answers questions relating to the book and loves predicting what he thinks will happen next. Attendance Award – Class 10
