Our priorities: 1. To reduce physical and verbal violence around school and in the boarding houses. 2. To ensure that students feel safe at school 3. Increase awareness of respect towards individual differences

Three faculty members on duty throughout the day in the school buildings. Each of the boarding houses has an adult on duty each evening. The Director of Student Life (DSL) lives on campus. Two orientation days at the start of the year. Two day/one night weekend schoolwide off site camp at CFB Val Cartier as an integration activity for all students. Cultural lunches monthly to celebrate international mindedness. Bigs and Littles program organized through our Student leaders. Student Code of Conduct booklet Advisor program. Activities that focus on specific groups. Greater understanding of different cultures. More awareness campaigns. Residential Life curriculum. In house bullying conference. Training for faculty, coaches and houseparents so that they are more aware of the different components of bullying and violence.

The school provides services for students and parents in the event of an incident involving bullying and violence. School counsellor available to parents. To provide parents, guardians and agents with the Student Hand Book. More regular communication with parents (domestic and international) by the houseparents (in loco parentis). Information webinars for parents who don’t live within easy proximity of the school or are international.

The school administration and the school counsellor can be contacted at any time to take any reporting of incident of bullying and violence. The students can ask any adults of the school for help and this at any time. To make sure that the students know where to go and who to talk to if they want to report an incident of bullying or violence.
