Adding and Removing Exam Takers Administrators have the ability to add or remove Exam Takers (ETs) in the Custom Home Page (CHP). This feature is useful during the add/drop period. Additionally, it may be necessary to make enrollment changes during a semester after the course and student file imports have been completed.

To remove individual ETs from your ExamSoft account, follow these steps: 1.

Filter the list of ET’s by selected their status using the options given at the top of the screen.

Enter the ETs information in the corresponding fields. Choose whether the ET will be using their personal computer or lab computer for testing.

Place a check mark in the box of the ET that you would like to remove.

If you want to send the ET their StudentID and Password, check the box ‘Send Exam Taker an email with the ExamSoft account information and instructions’ before Submitting the form.

A list will be generated with only the ET’s information you selected to remove. A notification will tell you to click the ‘Remove Selected’ icon again as confirmation of your selections.

Click ‘Removed Selected’ again to have the ET(s) permanently removed from the CHP.

It is important to note: 6.

Removing a record is irreversible. Once removed, you will no longer be able to see those records on the Exam Taker Tracking page. Therefore, carefully select records for removal.

Removing a record means that an Exam Taker can no longer register for SofTest. However, if an ET has already registered SofTest on a computer, SofTest will remain usable until it expires at the end of a semester.

c.

To avoid accidental deletions, the ‘Select All Unregistered’ button intentionally omits Exam Takers who registered SofTest to avoid accidental deletions.
