The Admirals Hockey Club and the Center Ice Skating Academy have developed a 3 step program that will prepare skaters for the exciting game of ice hockey. Skaters will first learn how to skate in order to master correct skating technique, and then will move on to learning hockey skills and drills. Both these aspects together will give skaters the proper foundation, so that they are able to make a smooth transition to a hockey team.
PRIVATE LESSONS AVAILABLE Whether you need help with a certain skill or want to prepare for team, private lessons are available to help you meet all of your skating needs. Contact the Skating Director to request coaching information.

The Admirals participate in the North West Hockey League Travel “B” League. With a “no-cut” policy, the number of teams at each level will be determined by the number of players at evaluations for the particular level. Registered players should expect over 60 hours of ice, which includes a bi-weekly skills clinic, approximately 28 team practices, 9 home games, 9 away games, and entry into end of season tournament. NO-CHECK House League The Admirals No-Check House League provides hockey development for players to transition to hockey teams. Players who are new to hockey or who would like to participate in hockey with a less intense schedule are welcome. No check focuses on skating and skills development with an emphasis on fun. Players participate in drills and scrimmages to improve their hockey skills.
