Excel Basics • Each box in an Excel Spreadsheet is called a CELL REFERENCE • Each Sheet is made up of; – Rows (labeled by numbers) and are horizontal – Columns (labeled by letters) and are vertical

• Each cell has a particular name which you can see in the Name box
