MMA OVERVIEW The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) is the premier association representing every part of the mobile marketing value chain – from agencies, advertisers and brands to device manufacturers, operators, publishers and service providers. With more than 700 members from all over the world, the MMA is an action-‐oriented organization with a global focus, regional activities and local relevance. The MMA global headquarters are located in the United States with regional chapters including North America (NA), Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Latin America (LATAM) and Asia (APAC). The MMA is governed by an elected Board of Directors in each respective region and by a Global Board on a worldwide basis. The MMA is focused on building a scalable and sustainable global Mobile Marketing industry by creating standards and guidelines, best practices and effectiveness research to support the growth of the marketplace. Our mission is to establish mobile as an indispensable part of the marketing mix. We believe that a successful trade association is the result of the willingness of the members to collaborate together, with each member understanding that collective action will generate better results at a faster rate than individual actions. As mobile marketing becomes more commonplace, it is essential for the industry to have a strong trade association that advocates across the industry at large.
