AKTION CLUB NEWS AND EVENTS Aktion Club members and advisers attending a District II Meeting
Aktion Club Officers 2015 The Aktion Club of Allen County is a Kiwanis sponsored club, supported by the Allen County Board of Developmental Disabilities. Members are Allen County adults with disabilities who have a desire to do community service work. The Aktion Club of Allen County meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 9:30 am at 2450To join or visit a club meeting please contact Kristen Miller at 419-221-1262 ext. 2353 or at [email protected] The meetings are run by the officers that have been elected into their positions. The Club members decide and vote on what service projects they want to support throughout the year. Annual dues are only $8. The first Aktion Club was established by Kiwanis in 1987 in Florida. Aktion Clubs became an official Service Leadership Program of Kiwanis International on October 1, 2000. Aktion Club of Allen County became an official club in November of 2005.
