Kirkland Aktion Club “What’s Next” Bowlers Young Disabled Adults, 18-40 JANUARY 17, 2015 Attendance: 20 Bowlers and about 30 caregivers including President: Sean Mc Kibben, Vice President: Jeffrey Rohrback, & Secretary Courtney Schwartz. Kiwanis Club of Kirkland: advisor - Darcie Cailao; helper - Matt Gregory, parent - Tish Evora. Monthly Format: This is a 3-2-1 club, each month doing at least 3 hours of service, 2 hours of social and 1 hour of meeting. SERVICE: ½ hour prior spent getting cards at (A Kirkland group of men and women who are dedicated to giving assistance through a personal level of involvement), 2 hours making cards for men and women serving in military at Joint Base Lewis McCord, and ½ hour after to pack and mail.

SOCIAL: 1 hour bowling and 1 hour dining. MEETING: Combined time throughout month totaled over an hour to schedule bowlers, post on Facebook, and plan next service project. Next Meeting: February 21, 2015. Club meets 11:45 AM at Tech City Bowl for one hour bowling starting 12:15 PM and then one hour social at adjacent Dairy Queen on third Saturday of each month. Service project done will be collecting baby goods for Kirkland Hopelink needy families. Prepared by MJG, KCK Sec.
