We are group of men and women that have donated 7 wreaths for $ 100.00 to be placed on Veterans graves at Cemeteries in the Santa Barbara and Ventura area. I you have a Cemetery that you would like to donate to the America Legion can do this for you

WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA 2017 We Started with one Cemetery in 2015 laid 27 wreaths and in 2016 We had four cemeteries and laid one hundred fifty wreaths . This year on 16 Dec 2017we will be doing 6 Ceremony at all of the Cemeteries we have
“To be killed in war is not the worst that can happen. To be lost is not the worst that can happen… to be forgotten is the worst.” — Pierre Claeyssens (1909-2003) A person dies twice: once when they take their final breath, and later, the last time their name is spoken.

While we have Veterans Day in the fall and Memorial Day in the spring, our servicemen and women sacrifice their time and safety every single day of the year, to preserve our freedoms. And in many homes across the U.S., every day there is an empty seat for one who is serving, or one who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Thank you for all your help this year. Next year will be even better than this year . Last year we had 150 Wreath that were place thank you all for your help look forward to Dec 16 2017 and we will add two new Cemeteries to our list. Trying for 1500 Wreaths This year hope you will be there Thank you
