Making an Alien Using the Liquify Tool 1. Begin by going to PhotoBooth. You can find it by clicking on Spotlight “Photo Booth”.
and searching for
2.Take a picture of yourself from the shoulders up.

3. Drag your picture to the desktop.
4. Open Photoshop by finding it in Spotlight
5. Click File
Open.
6. Open your photo.

7. Click Filter
Liquify.
8. Click on the Bloat Tool and in Tool Options change the Brush Size to 60.
9. Now, place the cross-hairs of the Bloat Tool on top of the boy’s left pupil (the black part at the center of the eye). Click and hold and don’t move your mouse. Make the eye about twice as big.

10. Switch to the other eye and do the same.
11. Next, double the size of Brush to 120 and use the Bloat Tool eyes.

12. Now, swich to the Pucker Tool.
13. Use the Pucker Tool to shrink the nose and the mouth. Make sure both sides of the nose and mouth look even. 4
14. Now Switch to the Forward Warp Tool.
15. Use this tool to push the corners of the boy’s eyes out...so they look like almonds.
16. Now, use the Forward Warp Tool (like an upside-down triangle.)
to make the face narrower at the bottom
17. Finally, use the Forward Warp Tool again to push up the forehead and make the hair look less visible.

18. Press OK and you’re done!
19. Next, click File
Save For Web.
20. Click Save.

21. Name your file. Make sure it’s saving to the Desktop. Click Save.
22. Finally, go on to your Blog and add the alien image you’ve created!
