A vision board is a collage of pictures, images, statements and/or affirmations of your dreams or all of the things that you are believing for in your life. Vision boards became popular with the release of “The Secret” and the introduction of the Law Of Attraction which is the belief that “like attracts like” and that by focusing on positive or negative thoughts, one can bring about positive or negative results. The idea is that by creating a vision board you are surrounding yourself with images of what you want and therefore your life changes to attract those things that you desire to come to you as you focus on it by making a Vision Board. How? Read below and I’ll show you how.

Poster board. A stack of different magazines. Scissors Glue.
Creating Your Vision Board. Step 1: Go through your magazines and pull out pictures, images, phrases etc… that are in alignment with all that you wrote out that you desire from your prep work. Step 2: Now pull out that poster board. I suggest you look at the board as if you have drawn an imaginary “t” on your board to make four quadrants on your board, each of the four sections representing the four quadrants of your life. • Spiritual & Emotional Health • Finances & Wealth/ Career • Health & Wellness • Relationships Keep in mind as you look for pictures you may wish to do so in one of two ways; • I know exactly what I want. • I am open to possibility. This is when you are not sure exactly what you want but you know how you want to feel. You can even choice words to represent this. Now lay out the pictures, images, phrases etc… you have pulled out and place them on it’s appropriate quadrant. You may even wish to label each section if you like. Step 3: Get to gluing. Once you have laid out everything and you are happy with where all your pictures, images, phrases etc… are, glue everything onto the board. Some people also like to write in words with markers, etc…. Be as creative as you like. Step 4: Hang your vision board in a place where you will see it often. That way you can continuous remind yourself the direction you are headed and keep yourself focused on it and moving toward it.
Keep in mind
Your vision board may change over time, so feel free to add to it as things expand and change.
