What%is%Active%Learning?% The!definition!of!Active!Learning!is!a! process!where!learners!are!directly! engaged!in!activities!which!promote! problem!solving!with!language!and! hands1on!skills.!In!a!pre1school!setting,! this!concept!is!combined!with!the!Play! and!Exploration!curriculum!where! learners!are!engaged!with!their!peers! and!educators!in!activities!such!as! singing,!drawing,!listening!to!reading,! dramatic!play,!obstacle!courses,!etc.! Through!active!play!and!NO!screen1 time,!students!will!develop!physical! coordination,!social!skills!and!an! appreciation!for!books!and!literacy.!

The!Active!Learning!Pre1School!facility!has!a! 2500!square!foot!indoor!play!area!to! facilitate!activities!such!as!obstacle!courses,! running,!tumbling,!building!forts!and! facilitating!active!games!in!a!safe!and!stress1 free!environment.!
