Altimeter Assembly - Thingiverse
Additional Parts Needed:
Slide Switch 8 WS2812 LED Strip
Arduino Nano Clone (Nano DCCduino)
BMP180 Breakout Board
5v Boost Converter
Not Pictured: - Wire - 2 1/4” x 1/8” Disc Magnets
RadioShack 2 AAA Battery Holder
Assembly
Schematic:
You should purchase your Arduino without header pins soldered on. Break off two pins and solder them as shown, making sure pins A4 and A5 are connected to SDA and SCL respctively, as show in the schematic.
Assembly Your Arduino should drop right into the corner of the box.
Everything else basically fits in like this. I did add a couple pieces of foam to keep everything in place:

I used some clear silicone sealant to mount the LEDs in their spot, but hot glue, or any other adheisive of your choice would most likely do the job.
I used hot glue to secure the magnets in their places. Note that in this picture I’m using 1/8” x 1/8” magnets. The model has been upgraded to use 1/4” x 1/8” magnets for extra strength.
Now go drop the code on your chip and jump it!
