Anchors Leadership Development Program Programs for February 21-27 Open to all Stonehill Students. Registration for programs is encouraged! Tuesday, February 21 Self-Assessment: True Colors 5 pm - Sports Complex 120 True Colors is a fun, interactive self-assessment that allows students to understand who they are in terms of personality and behavior, especially as it relates to working with other people. Attend this interactive session to find out if you are a Blue, Green, Orange, Gold…or a combination of all colors. Register for this workshop! Wednesday, February 22 Self-Assessment: Leadership Styles 5 pm - Cleary Dining Room Everyone’s approach to leadership is different. We all have our own style of how we approach tasks, relationships and the leadership process. This workshop consists of a simple self-assessment to find out if your style of leadership is Direct, Spirited, Considerate, or Systematic. Great opportunity to help students who want to discover what their leadership style is and what situations it might be most effective. Register for this workshop! Thursday, February 23 Leadershop: Finding Courage to Do What is Right Topic: Moral courage 7 pm - Holy Cross Center Library We often know what the right thing to do is, but there are so many forces and factors that prevent us from acting. How can we get from seeing a need for leadership in the world to convincing ourselves that we have to courage to act? Register for this leadershop! Friday, February 24 Self-Assessment: Strengths 101 9 am - Disco Room, Library StrengthsQuest has been used by many institutions and corporations to help their students and employees discover their true talents and strengths and how to use them to be successful. Strengths uses a positive psychology approach toward personal and leadership development. This session will focus on using students’ results from StrengthsFinder to become more successful in leadership situations. Register for this workshop! Monday, February 27 Leadershop: Value Added Topic: Values clarification 11:45 am - Disco Room, Library (lunch provided) Knowing what we value most in our personal and professional lives makes it easier to respond to situations with integrity. This program will allow you to reflect upon what is most important to you and how your values significantly shape your decision-making process. Register for this leadershop!
