ATTENDANCE: Chris, Raina, Heidi, Davena, Tim, Jackie, Alicia, Brandon, Gina, Shawn, John Visitor: AJC President – Andres Ortiz MEETING CALLED TO ORDER @ 6:35 PM Motion to approve 10-7-15 minutes made by Raina, 2nd by Heidi - ALL IN FAVOR Secretary Report – it was requested by Gina, league secretary, that any notifications or request to go on the agenda for any upcoming meetings be done via text or email Treasurer Report – Current balance as of 11-4-2015, $21,248.85 of which $18,247.85 is available after equipment allocation of $3,000 to equipment manager for purchasing equipment for upcoming season; taxes were turned in on 10-28-2015 to Professionals Only in Anderson to complete 2014 tax preparation as taxes are due to IRS by 12-15-2015 Vice President Report – nothing to report Players Agent Report - Sign-ups: Shawn motioned to keep fees the same as 2015 season, 2nd by Raina -ALL IN FAVOR; The sign up dates are scheduled for January 2016 starting with January 2nd/14th/16th/23rd, Saturday sign-ups will be from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, weekday sign-ups will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm all will take place at Anderson City Hall. There will be a special sign up on Wednesday, January 6th in the gym at Pacheco School from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Internet sign-ups will be available beginning 12-012015, a motion by Gina was made to approve the sign up dates, times and locations as indicated, 2nd by Raina -- ALL IN FAVOR; The informational banner for the league to notify public by being hung on North Street was voted on, the cost of a 40’x3’ full color by Signarama is $618, uncertain if it is 2 sided or 1 sided, next quote for a 30’x3’ from Red Bluff Banner 1 sided $550 2 sided $750, at this time the board will not proceed with the ordering and fees from the city ($195) was voted down, the vote was 2-yes, 7no, 1-abstain Sign up Dates

Coaching Coordinator – will be contacting Vern to set up a player’s clinic in December over the Christmas break (last 2 weeks of December) and looking for possible dates in January as well. Safety Officer – nothing to report Field Maintenance Report – research was done on the cost and models of draggers/rippers for field, tabled until next meeting, also found a 2 wheel pneumatic chalker (previously approved by the board), will be ordered within the month, 1 at this time to perform a test run/use, if compatible and works well then purchase 2 more; suggested to board a new approach to coaching and teaching players, coaches, managers, umpires, parents and board members the art of the game, The Ripken Way. Raina motioned that 3 sets of Coaching Youth Baseball The Ripken Way and Playing Baseball The Ripken Way be purchased for the president, player agent and coaching coordinator, along with any other board member read and learn the process, 2nd by Brandon -- ALL IN FAVOR Fundraising/Sponsorship Report – Sponsorship forms, Raina would like to do a mass mailing of sponsorship forms to all sponsors, after 1st initial contact has been made, the cost would be $150 for NorCal PreSort to print forms, stuff and mail, Shawn motioned to proceed with the mass mailing at $150, 2nd by Heidi -- ALL IN FAVOR; Dug outs - $4,500 for all 6 new dug outs to be put into place, $3,000 total for batting cage, this includes donations offered by local merchants, Darren Taylor Construction will rip out all existing and level ground for batting cage, Muse Construction, as a donation, will frame/pour concrete for dug outs and batting cage, motion by John to start dugout/ re-construction process, Brandon 2nd -- ALL IN FAVOR
