KK 2000 temporary spray adhesive Embroidery Perfection Tape (pink) or blue painter’s tape. Appliqué scissors (if you have more than one, bring all that you own.) Fabric shears for cutting appliqué fabric pieces.
Needle and Thread G Embroidery Needle 75/11 G Bobbin wound with white bobbin thread.
Batting G We will supply the batting.
Select Appliqué Fabric 1. 2. 3. 4.
Select a color family. In the example, the designers have selected the blue color family. Then select four fabrics in that color family. If using prints, select small prints. A 12" square of each fabric should be adequate for the appliqué.

Thread Color Selection G G G G
Embroidery thread (polyester or rayon) 40 wt. Select your thread color after you have selected your project and appliqué fabrics. Thread colors in the designers’ choice seem to suggest blending - not contrasting. Exceptions are the run stitch accent on the flower center and the round satin accents. For those stitches, suggestions are a contrasting color.
