[email protected] JULY BUS TRIP: A two-day bus trip has been planned for July 14 & 15 and the destination is Washington DC. Museum visits will include the International Spy Museum, National Museum of African American History & Culture and your choice of the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum or the Air & Space Museum. Day one’s highlight will be the Marine Barracks Evening Parade. This is a 75-minute performance by the United States Marine Band, known as the “Commandants Own” and the United States Marine Corps Silent Drill Platoon. For more details and a registration form, please pick up a brochure on the table in the narthex. Deadline for payment and registration is June 1, 2017. See Cheryl Weaver for more information. CHURCH APRONS: The church is ordering St. Stephen aprons for you to purchase, to own and wear at the Farm Show stand and church functions that you may be helping with. A sign-up sheet as well and a sample of the apron, is on the table in the narthex along with a bag labeled “APRONS” for your check or cash. Checks should be made payable to St Stephen Reformed Church and on the memo line indicate “CHURCH APRON”. SUPPORT FOR THE EBERLY FAMILY - If you wish to make a monetary donation to Ben and Lea during this time we encourage you to donate to the St. Stephen Samaritan Fund, designating it for the Eberly family. They are appreciative of our church's support and prayers. Please note that Ben and Lea Eberly's email address is
[email protected]. ST. STEPHEN IS NOW NUT-FREE. Due to the risks associated with nut allergies our church now prohibits nuts or any food containing nut products. We request that you do not bring these items into the building at any time nor to church functions.
Community Activities NEW HOLLAND FOOD BANK is an ongoing ministry we all can take part in. Bins for donations are located in the narthex and breezeway. Consider bringing a canned or boxed item with you as you attend church. A meal, laundry, or cleaning item or even diapers, is a blessing to someone in need.
