ANNOUNCEMENTS 07/30/17 WELCOME GUESTS!! We are happy that you are with us. Our purpose is to share Christ through our ministries. Please sign the visitors’ card in the pew and place it in the offering plate. Nursery is offered during our 10:30 worship service for children age four or younger. KINGDOM KIDS CHILDREN'S MINISTRY is available for children ages 4-8. They will be dismissed during the 10:30 service “Children’s Song”. We cannot begin to understand on this side of eternity why things happened the way they have, but we cling to the hope we have in Christ. - Nathan, Faith and Adelaide Titus Church Activities CONGREGATIONAL MEETING - There will be a congregational meeting next Sunday, August 6 at Noon to consider the Projection Proposal designed to solve the sight line problems in the balcony. An information sheet is available in the narthex following the service. COMBINED ADULT SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL class continues in Upper Zwingli. This week’s lesson of The Protestant Revolt, is Chapter 7: Magnum Opus. WOMEN's BIBLE STUDY will resume in September. Beginning Monday, Sept. 18 at 6:30 pm and Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 9:30 am (Please note the change in times). This year we will be studying the Gospel of John using a study guide by Kathleen Buswell Nielson. Sign-ups and study guides will be available soon!! DINE AROUND TRIP - No time to sit still, there is another bus trip planned, check this one out. We all like to eat so our Dine Around trips are always a success. Tuesday, October 17, 2017, a trip to Carroll County to tour the quaint village of Westminster, MD and dine at Johansson’s Dining House for a fresh salad, tour Uniontown and dine at Antrim 1844 County House Hotel for our entrée. We will tour Carroll County Farm Museum with a costumed guide as she escorts us through the main house. Craft demonstrations on the grounds, then back to Westminster to enjoy dessert at the Gypsy’s Tea Room. Flyers and sign-up sheet are on the table in the narthex for full details of this trip. Checks should be made payable to Cheryl Weaver, PO Box 528, Blue Ball, PA 17506. Deadline for sign-up and final payment September 22, 2017. FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE TITUS AND EBERLY FAMILIES. Checks should be made payable to St. Stephen Reformed Church designating your gifts to the respective families on the memo line of your check, on your church envelope, or in a separate envelope. Contributions to the Samaritan's Fund will continue to be received to help meet other needs as they arise. Thank you for your help.

Community Activities BACK-TO-SCHOOL: The August 7th deadline for donations is next week. Please help the Outreach Committee again this year, with your gifts of backpacks and school supplies for the students in grades K-12 who live in the ELANCO School District. Following is a list of items needed. The container in the narthex is there for your convenience. Thank you.     

CURRENT NEEDS - NEW HOLLAND FOOD BANK: Currently there is a specific need for the following: canned fruit, cake mix, soup, crackers, apple juice, laundry detergent (45/50 oz.), pancake mix and paper towels. Any donation is always welcome! Bins for donations are located in the narthex and breezeway.
