In 2002, the Metropolitan Trenton African American Chamber of Commerce , (MTAACC), in partnership with then Mayor Douglas Palmer’s Yes we Can Foundation and local business and community stakeholders, launched Crime Stoppers of Greater Trenton. To date, the efforts of CSGT have led to 91 arrests, 35 cases cleared, and $41,000 in drugs and stolen property seized. Through a secure, anonymous process, Crime Stoppers receives information with a goal of bringing to justice offenders who commit violent crimes.
