For our bid day festivities, we went to sister, Haleigh Stringer’s house in Muhlenberg County to celebrate. The day included many pictures as well as pool time and a shop box from the AOII Emporium! It was a great time to get to know all of our new sisters and make memories.

Sisterhood! We pride ourselves on how strong our sisterhood is. When you can honestly say you love every single one of your sisters, that’s a big deal. We really enjoy having fun sisterhood events to make our bond even stronger. For a sisterhood, the game “Touch a sister who…” was played. An example would be everyone but five people sit in a circle. The leader tells everyone to shut their eyes and the sisters not in the circle would touch a sister that has helped them through a hard time or who you can always count on., things of that nature. This night when the game was played, the girls had paint and it resulted in the Beta Chi sisters looking like this!

The Suite! This year we got a new chapter suite in the basement of Peeple’s! This picture shows us for our first meeting in the suite. It may have been a bit crowded in there but it went great!

Initiation!

We initiated 15 girls into Beta Chi chapter this past November.

Strike Out Arthritis For Strike Out Arthritis, we hosted a bowling event at Diamond Lanes Midtown. Our event raised $490.51 and all of it went to the Arthritis Foundation. The foundation seeks to improve the lives of those living with Arthritis through public health education, pursuing public policy, and contributing to Arthritis research.

President’s Corner Our chapter has grown so much these past few months! Our biggest accomplishment as a chapter has been reaching Ruby Level status - a high achieving, goal-oriented system set for all chapters of Alpha Omicron Pi on an international level. This is an accomplishment that very few established chapters, let alone a recently installed one, ever complete. I cannot wait for Beta Chi chapter to be recognized at AOII’s biannual International Convention this summer! With us just completing Greek Week (and winning Greek Sing!), alumnae transitions, and senior send-off, we are finishing up the school year with an abundance of love and sisterhood to carry with us through the summer months as we all go back home. I look forward to all of us bringing that love and sisterhood back to campus in the fall to let it shine through during formal recruitment as we find new sisters! Roses, Jordan Roberts Chapter President

The theme for Greek Sing this year was “Throwback.” We took home the trophy for Greek Sing and came in 2nd for Greek Week.
