Apprentice Accounts Assistant Super organised, eager to learn but want to earn? Get your career started and gain a nationally recognised AAT Level 2 qualification at the same time. Reliv Europe Ltd is a fast growing multi-national network marketing company that specialises in the distribution of nutritional products throughout Europe. We are now looking for a person who is seeking a career in accounts, who is bright, enthusiastic and highly motivated to provide valuable support to the finance department. This is a temporary position that is expected to last between 12-30 months, at which point the Apprentice’s employment with Reliv Europe will be reviewed. Over the course of this apprenticeship you will receive expert training and gain valuable experience, developing a range of skills that will help set you up for a successful career. All of your Level 2 AAT Accounts training will be provided by Bournville College on a day release basis, with the remainder of your training completed in the workplace. This will enable you to get the business skills and experience in order to help kick-start your career. Working as part of a friendly team you will have a varied role to help the business run smoothly. Some of your day to day responsibilities may include:      

Bank/Credit card reconciliation Accounts Payable Petty Cash VAT returns & reconciliations Intrastat reporting Budget Reporting/Analysis

Analyse and post expense claim forms Run sales reports Other ad hoc financial/general office duties Assist the Finance Director/Accountant providing administrative support Depreciation/maintaining the fixed asset register. Intercompany

The role will suit an individual who:      

Has good time management skills Has GCSE Grades A*-C in English and Maths Has A Levels Grades A-C Is a self-motivated and hardworking individual. Has a working knowledge of excel, email and word. Has strong personal organisation skills to meet operational deadlines.  Possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Has a high level of attention to detail – meticulous and methodical. 20 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Simplyhealth Cash plan after a qualifying period. 37 per week Subject to qualifying conditions £5.50ph/£203.50pw Level 2 AAT Accounting Apprenticeship (12 months), with the option of progression to Level 3 AAT Accounting Apprenticeship (18 months), with a possible permanent position for the right candidate after the 30 months.
