Continuing this Sunday at 9:30, we will gather for the five-week Adult Christian Education opportunity during Sunday School entitled “Suddenly and Unprepared: Planning for the End of This Life.” The title comes from a petition found in The Great Litany from The Book of Common Prayer:
“From all oppression, conspiracy, and rebellion; from violence, battle, and murder; and from dying suddenly and unprepared, Good Lord, deliver us.”
“From all oppression, conspiracy, and rebellion; from violence, battle, and murder; and from dying suddenly and unprepared, Good Lord, deliver us.”
Our goal is to provide good information and healthy conversation for parishioners and their families when preparing for “End of Life” issues and concerns, specifically from a Christian, Episcopal, and church-centered perspective. We will welcome guest speakers from a range of disciplines, including presentations on hospice care, wills and estate planning, working with a funeral home, as well as details about planning a funeral at Epiphany and our own Memorial Garden. Please join us.

LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY
LADIES’ BIBLE STUDY
Attention: Ladies of Epiphany (plus friends, guests, and all-comers)! Join Father Aaron on Tuesdays at 11:00 a.m. for a new opportunity for study and fellowship. We will gather for an hour each week in the Library upstairs to engage and discuss Holy Scripture through the lens of our common life – as people of faith, members of the community, and citizens of the world. As attentive Christians, we believe that the Word of God in the Biblical witness is a “living text,” and – through the power of the Holy Spirit – continues to speak to us in our own current context. Join us!
