Hello Villagers! Can you believe how quickly our summer went? I think time flies quicker as I get older. Today I am sitting in my classroom trying to pull it all together before the students arrive. As we prepare for our fall classes I am reminded of the talent of the wonderful women that teach and work in the shop. Class samples are being hung, supply lists are being copied and the shop’s calendar online is being updated. We are just about ready. Beginning in September, Let’s Get Organized, by Annie. We will begin with the Stash and Dash in September followed by the Nesting Baskets in October and the Ditty Bags in November. I know you will fall in love with the practical designs as well as the opportunity to create stylish organizers while learning new skills and techniques. I hope you will join me on this organizing journey! Details are available at the shop! All of our holiday fabrics are now in the shop. We are expecting a few more flannels, including wide backs for those toasty warm quilts you will be creating. I will begin sharing class descriptions online and if you have any questions about the upcoming schedule, please don’t hesitate to give the shop a call. Accidental Landscapes rely on layers of color and lines to capture the feelings of a favorite scene. These miniatures are quick and easy to make with freeform cutting and topstitched edges. The results are always a pleasant surprise. We will use Karen Eckmeier’s Farm Fields pattern as a guide in this class.

Art Quilt Club All Levels The Art Quilt Club is a monthly club for quilters/sewers/artists interested in exploring a new style. Club meets the first Thursday of each month from 2-4 pm or 6:30-8:30 pm. Members will sign up for a 6-month membership for $30.00 and work on projects based on the group’s interests. No experience required - new members welcome! ! 1st Thursday of each month 2-4 pm or 6:30-8:30 pm $30. 00 for 6 months’ membership !! Contact the shop for to see what sessions have space.
Jo’s Little Women Club There are currently 3 different sessions for this club 2nd Tuesdays 11-1pm, 2nd Thursdays 11-1pm or 4th Tuesday 6-8pm Class Fee: $30 for 6 month pass + pattern packet& fabric For the lovers of reproduction fabrics we are delighted to offer you Jo’s Little Women Club by Jo Morton. Jo is a maker of small reproduction quilts and has numerous fabric lines. She has developed a club with club member exclusive patterns. Each meeting begins with a short program by Karen featuring some interesting history of the quilts of this time period. Contact shop to see what sessions have room.

Class 10:30am-12:30pm Fee $5 each class This club meets the first Tuesday of each month from 10:30-12:30 to work on appliqué techniques & projects.
