ART DECO PLACEMAT Supply List Finished placemat size is 12” X 18”--made with six panels that are joined with a super great technique. Four panels have one or two fabric appliqué and two are quilting only. Plan your fabrics for contrast and fun! Bring: Embroidery CD “Art Deco Fan” by Anna Aldmon--discounted -USB stick - Embroidery machine with power cord and embroidery foot -Hoop--7 X 12, 8 X 8 or 8 X 12 - Fabrics: Background-- (6) 10” squares Backing-- (6) 10” squares (can be same as background) Applique Fabrics--(4) 6” squares of each (8 total if two colors are used) Joining Strips--1/4 yard (used on front and back) Embroidery Batting--Enough for 6 “IN HOOP” hoopings (Battilizer is great here too--I used the Floriani Embroidery batting and love the “feel”) (2) 2 ½” strips for binding -Steam A Seam 2 ¼” strip roll -Embroidery threads with embroidery bobbin -Extra bobbin for embroidery thread for back -Ruler and rotary cutter -Basting spray or Embroidery Perfection Tape ***Sewing function for Class #2 to “join”--bring standard foot and edge joining foot if available and your foot control
