As I am sure you can imagine,I trying to run my business from home and fighting a campaign against candidates who have no shortage of corporate companies backing them and helping them pay for their expenses. We in the green party have paid for everything by using crowdfunding. I went to the democracy club, but found it very unhelpful and as I don't have a CV due to the fact I run my own business, I really haven't got the time to complete one. However, I will give you a brief overview of what I have done. I spent 22 years in the Royal Air Force, working as a technician and later as an engineering officer, both on the front line and at the Ministry of Defence. When I left the RAF, I went to Manchester University to study environmental biology, spending a whole summer in the Arctic working on climate change projects and went on to complete a PGCE and a diploma in education. I spent the next seven years working as a teacher in a high school in Trafford and at a school for children with emotional and behavioural difficulties in Manchester as head of science. Following a serious neck operation, I left with my wife to go and work on a small Caribbean island as dive instructors and later as Marine Park Rangers. When we came back we opened a dive shop in Chorlton, but had to close this down as the recession started to bite. I now work with my wife as an underwater wildlife photographer, photojournalist and author. I ate any of my pictures to wildlife charities who ask for them and I am a campaigner in trying to get shock finning banned. As my CV suggests, I'm not a politician, but I am so angry at the misguided austerity model that all of the three main parties seem to be following, like headless chickens. There is an alternative and that involves taxing the very rich, the bankers and the banks. We would reinstate the National Health Service, take back the railways and sort out education system. And why are none of them addressing climate change? Indeed, David Cameron totally dismisses it as it gets in his way of making more money for those who already have lots of money.
I'm sorry this short but I really am running out of hours before the election. Yours sincerely, Nick Robertson Brown, Green Party
