Golf GENERAL INFORMATION 

New in 2017: Athletes must be registered online. Visit il.8to18.com/mortonjhs to complete the online registration process. The only document students need to turn into the office in the sports physical. Participation cards (referred as Green cards will no longer be distributed. Athletes will not be allowed to try-out/ practice/participate without registering and turning in their physical. There are no team practices, and we hope to have between 1-3 “regular season” matches. Transportation is provided. It will be the results of these matches that will help determine the Sectional roster. The IESA limits member school participation in the Sectional qualifying meet to a maximum of six boys and six girls. Interested students (both boys and girls) should contact Mr. Carter ASAP because schools must reserve the six Sectional spots by June 5. If we don’t have interest by June 6, Sectional spots will not be reserved. It is our hope to have 12 MJHS students (6 boys and 6 girls) competing at the Sectional qualifier.
