Week of Prayer for Grand Crossings Baptist Association May 15-22, 2016 SUNDAY: Pray for your church specifically on this first day of prayer for GCBA. Pray for God’s vision for your church to be fulfilled through the ministry opportunities available. Pray for your pastor. Pray for your staff. Pray for your church’s leadership (deacons, Sunday School teachers, youth ministry, children’s ministry, ladies and men’s ministry, etc.). Ask God to bless each one and fill them with a heart for ministry.
MONDAY: Pray for the GCBA churches and their pastors. A list has been provided on the back with each church and its pastor. Pray for their ministry both personally and corporately. Pray that God will give them a renewed heart each week for their congregation and community.
TUESDAY: Pray for Camp Cedar Crest and its ministry throughout the year. Pray for the camping season. A list can be found on the backside. Camp Cedar Crest also houses other camps and retreats throughout the year. For more information or how you can pray more specifically, you can find them at www.campcedarcrestmo.org. Pray for their open house on June 18th. Pray for the Camp Board and Committee.
WEDNESDAY: Pray for your Associational Missionary, Preston Thompson. Pray that God would use him a mighty way to minister to each church, pastor and ministry in GCBA. Pray for his family as he travels each week to preach or visit in a GCBA church. If you want to contact him for GCBA matters or encouragement, the information is on the back of this page.
THURSDAY: Pray for the ministries housed within the GCBA borders. A full list of them are on the back of this sheet. Pray for the ministry leaders and staff. Pray for the ministries that have not been started yet and that God would raise up leaders and champions for those new ministries.
FRIDAY: Pray for the GCBA mission trips this summer. Pray for the leaders, participants and areas that they will be going to. A list is found on the back of this page. SATURDAY: Pray for the Leadership Council and Executive Board for GCBA. Pray that God would empower them with His wisdom and foresight in to leading this Association for Kingdom work.
