Annual Athletic Support Areas Book Scholarships – To supplement the funds designed for student-athlete books. (Average Cost: $250 - $500) Fall/Winter/Spring Camps – These are periods in the year where teams must arrive or return to campus while the cafeteria is closed and Athletics is required to pay for meals that are not covered in the student’s meal plan. (Average Cost: $2,000 - $20,000) Pre/Post-Game Meals – Athletes miss meals at the cafeteria for competition. These funds will allow coaches to purchase supplemental meals. Teams travel to areas where alumni chapters will provide a pre-game or post-game meal. (Average Cost: $250 - $1,000) Equipment – Teams need training equipment (i.e., basketball shooting machine, volleyball ball carts, golf putting greens, and track pole vault equipment). Average Cost: ($1,000 - $50,000) Championship Awards – To purchase championship letterman jackets, watches, rings, and etc., for SWAC Champions. (Average Cost $300 per item – NCAA Limit) Memberships/Giving – Booster Club, AD Challenge, Half-Grand Fund, and $10 Bucks-A-Month Fund
