INTRODUCTION The speaker inside the headset is what allows the user to hear the the person on the other line. If the user has issues with that, replacing the speaker might solve the problem.

Step 1 — Handset Speaker



Separate the two sections of the headset by pushing the sections apart with the tip of the metal spudger.

Separate the two sections the same way described above all around the headset as shown.

After separating the two section of the handset, it should look as shown.

At the top end of the handset, the speaker needed to be replaced it the circular white piece with red and greed wires connected to it. The speaker is attached to the handset with a slightly sticky adhesive. Pull the speaker out gently to detach from the handset.

To completely remove the speaker, remove the existing solder using a soldering iron which melts the solder out for both the red and green wires.
