Attention Mukwonago Area Baseball Players
Mukwonago Baseball 2014 Youth Camps The Mukwonago High School Baseball coaching staff and players will be hosting a one day camp for all interested area youth baseball players. Weekends are pretty full with tournaments, and many weeks are already full with other camps, so we have designed our camps as one day camps so you can hopefully find a day that fits the calendar. Camp will be held on the MHS Baseball diamond and the MHS softball diamond. When: 1) June 19th (Thursday) : -for current 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders Time: 11am-2:30pm, w/ a lunch break @ 1:00pm
2) June 20th (Friday) : -for current 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders Time: 9am-12:30pm, w/ a lunch break @ 11:00am
3) June 26th (Thursday) : -for current 3rd, 4th, & 5th Graders Time: 11am-2:30pm, w/ a lunch break @ 1:00pm
4) June 27th (Friday) : -for current 6th, 7th, & 8th Graders Time: 9am-12:30pm, w/ a lunch break @ 11:00am
~the format is set up so that our young ballplayers choose one of these camps (only). We will be capping the camps at 40 (a hard cap) so we are offering two of each level this year to fit all interested area players. All campers must register in advance. Cost: $40 Our camps will focus on the following: -Proper throwing mechanics -Proper hitting mechanics -Baserunning
-infield/outfield play
-game situations
-Proper fielding mechanics -having fun!
What to Bring: All campers should be ready for indoor and outdoor activities. A few items we recommend include: Indoor/Outdoor shoes/spikes Protective Cup Baseball Glove Sweatpants/baseball pants(no shorts) Baseball Bat Temperature Appropriate Clothing Water bottle a bag lunch Each camper will also receive an official MHS Baseball T-shirt.
