PERSONNEL COMMITTEE The meeting has changed from August 7 to August 14, 6:30 pm.
GOOD NEWS CLUB NEWS The after-school Good News Club will start back up in September. Are you interested in learning more about this ministry and serving with us? We meet once a week on Tuesdays from 3:15-4:30. During club we sing songs, hear missionary stories, memorize verses, play games, eat snacks, hear a Bible story followed by a response time. The club is designed to reach those that don't yet have a personal relationship with Christ as well as help those that do grow in knowing Him. If you are a teen or adult wanting more information contact Sara Smith [email protected].
Since our church is on the doorstep of one of the largest and most transient local mission fields in our area (Missouri Western State University) we want to be a church that invests in this mission field. We believe that the biggest asset our church has in reaching college students and young adults with the Gospel is YOU! If you’re interested in learning more about this mission field and how you can be a part of discipleship and mentoring relationships with college-aged students, please come learn more on August 20, at 9AM in the Worship Center. We will share some practical tools for disciple making and discuss several ways for you (and your family) to be involved.
