We are doing a church challenge with Foothills church to see who can raise the most money to save babies lives. We will have a collection bottle at the front of the church from now until September. Prayer Shawl Meetings: Every 2 nd and 4th Tuesday of the month @ 6:30 pm. (August 8 th & August 22 nd) 2017 Missions Celebration Sunday: Please mark your calendar for September 10 th for our Mission Celebration Sunday. We will celebrate our mission’s involvement for 2017 and receive a special offering toward our mission trips for 2018. Our goal is $20,000. We have received $6,595.00. Grief Share’s next meeting will be Tuesday, August 15 th @ 6:00 10 th.
Silver Warriors: August meeting will be Thursday, August Meet at the church at 10:30 for devotion followed by lunch at a local restaurant. Youth News: Student Lock-In and Tubing trip – August 11 th. Cost will be $10 per person. Meet at the church at 8:30 am. Lunch and dinner will be provided. For the Lock-in you are asked to bring games, pillow, and blankets. Guys – bring salty snacks. Girls – bring sweets. Choir Notes: In preparation for John and Lenette’s 30 th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday morning, August 20 th, we want to fill up the choir loft with anyone who has ever sang in the choir or has a desire to sing and lead worship. We are holding one rehearsal Wednesday night, August 16 th from 6:30 – 7:30. Please come fill the loft and help us celebrate what God has done and continues to do.
