Augusta University will host Annual Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K AUGUSTA, Ga. (Feb. 18, 2017) –A Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will be hosted by Augusta University on Feb. 26.
According to Marketing Strategist Brian Marshall, this event is known as one of the best annual events in the region, and it is a resource used to help people strive toward a healthy life style.
“It is fun and it is great to know you can complete the race.” Marshall said.
The race will begin at the Lake Olmstead Stadium and the course will include a tour of Augusta's historic downtown, Summerville campus, and the Harrisburg neighborhood.

Augusta University has partnered with Fleet Feet Augusta to provide training for participants. For more information, visit www.fleetfeetaugusta.com/training.
Early registration will be open until Thursday, February 23, 2017. On-site registration will only be open during packet pick-up on Friday, February 24 and Saturday, February 25 at the Julian Smith Casino. Registration will NOT be open on race day. Registration prices vary for each event. The race is $25 for the 5K, $35 for the 10K, and $45 for the half marathon.
