Please read all of the information enclosed in this document to ensure you have the best possible experience. Please make sure to pay special attention to the start times, course safety and road closure information. Remember it’s not too late to get your friends and family to join you on the day: • Enter online at www.starttofinish.com.au. before Thursday, 21 August at 11:59pm. • Onsite at Peter Scullin Reserve, Mordialloc on Saturday, 23 August from 2:00pm – 5:00pm or on event day on Sunday, 24 August from 5:45am.

The event site for all events will be at Peter Scullin Reserve, Beach Road, Mordialloc.
RACE KIT You will need to pick up you race kits at one of the following times and locations: • Running Fit Store, 170 Queen Street in the CBD up until 3pm on Friday 22nd August (only available for those who entered before 9am, Monday 11 August). • Peter Scullin Reserve, Mordialloc between 2:00pm and 5:00pm on Saturday, 23 August or • Peter Scullin Reserve, Mordialloc from 5:45am on Sunday, 24 August Brooks caps can be claimed for eligible participants at these times. Registrations will also be taken on both days. Late fees will apply.

ON DAY INFORMATION
GETTING THERE PARKING Parking is available in side streets off Beach Road and Nepean Highway. Beach Road will be closed to all traffic (vehicles and cyclists) between the following times 6:00am - 10.45am. Please allow plenty of time to park, and walk to the event site at Peter Scullin Reserve, Mordialloc. Please park legally, and be aware of parking restrictions in the area. Please carpool, where possible. BIKE PARKING Bike parking will be available at the event site. It’s a great way to warm up! Please bring your own lock. PUBLIC TRANSPORT The nearest train station to the site is Mordialloc (located on the Frankston line), a short 5 minute walk to the event site. The first trains arrive after 7:00am on Sundays. Please refer to the Public Transport Victoria website for further details: www.ptv.vic.gov.au Please be aware when crossing the road to the event site that participants may be starting their event on Beach Road. Please take direction from the pedestrian marshals at Centreway, and do not cross in front of participants.
COURSE INFORMATION The Health.com.au Sandy Point course is measured according to the requirements and standards of the IAAF measuring scheme. If you are required to complete the half-marathon on the footpath and beach paths due to cut off times, please note the course is officially measured on the road course only.
START LINE All events start on Beach Road, just south of Centreway near The Bay Hotel, Mordialloc.
IMPORTANT All participants will start the event on Beach Road, near the event site. Participants will head north in the two middle lanes of Beach Road, on either side of the centre line. The lane closest to the residents will be a slip lane for vehicles to enter & exit their properties DO NOT RUN IN THIS LANE. The lane closest to the beach side of the road will be for returning runners to the finish line.

CHANGES TO DISTANCE Please notify Start to Finish by 5:00pm on Thursday 21 August via email (
[email protected]) of any distance changes you wish to make prior to participating. Failure to notify changes will lead to delays in the results and on-day presentations.
WAVE STARTS If you believe you will be in the Top 10 male/female in each race category, please ensure you are close to the start line as the top three places awarded on race day are based on gun time. To improve the experience for runners, we will have wave starts as listed below. Please position yourself accordingly.
ON-DAY ACTIVITIES BAG DROP A bag drop area will be located in the event site for storage of your clothing during the run/ walk. Please do not place any valuables in the clothing bags, as we cannot accept responsibility for valuables lost or stolen. DRINK STATIONS

There will be drink stations located on course at the finish lines. Below are the locations of drinks stations for each distance:
There will be one wave for the 5km event. 10km Wave 1- participants under 45mins
Half Marathon Water – Approx. every 2.5kms Electrolyte – Approx. every 5kms
Wave 2 - remainder of 10km runners Half-marathon Wave 1- all participants under 1.45mins Wave 2 - remainder of Half-marathon participants Race Wheelchair participants will start five minutes prior to the first wave in their distance.
10km Water – 2.5km, 5km, 7.5km, Finish Electrolyte – 5km, Finish 5km Water – 2.5km, Finish Electrolyte – Finish FIRST AID St John First Aid roving bike crews will be on course, in addition a first aid station at the 10km turnaround. St. John First Aid will also be located at the finish line at the event site. TOILETS A public toilet block and portable toilets will be located at the event site. There are also public toilet blocks and portable toilets located along the course route, which will be sign posted. RECOVERY ZONE After your event, head to the Recovery Zone next to the Running Fit Marquee to have a stretch or try out Foam Rolling to help revive those aching muscles.

BROOKS CAPS Brooks caps are available to the first 1,500 entrants. These can be collected with your race pack. Those who need to collect their Brooks giveaway must do so before 11:00am on event day. After this time, they will be no longer available.
RUNNER’S WORLD PACE LEADERS Join a Runner’s World pace team to help meet your desired time goal! Pace leaders will be present for the 5km run, 10km run and Half-marathon distances.
CELEBRATE YOUR ACHIEVMENT PLACEGETTER MEDALS
The pace groups offered are as follows:
Placegetter medals will be awarded to the first three males and females in each run distance. Placegetters will also receive a Physiohealth massage voucher.

Pacers will be wearing a coloured balloon with the goal time displayed for easy visibility.
Results and certificates will be available at www. starttofinish.com.au after 6:00pm on Sunday, 24 August. You can also print a personalised official certificate from the website. TIMING Split points will be located on course: Half-marathon – Half Way 10km – 5km
