PARENT WORKSHOPS YEARS 1 TO 6 10th -14th October We hold learning workshops to inform parents about the curriculum, daily school life and how parents can support the children in their learning at home. This year you are invited into your child’s classroom where the children will perform a little assembly telling you about what they have been learning in class. There will be a particular focus on English. The assembly will be followed by a mini information session for parents.
HEALTHY SCHOOL INITIATIVE As a healthy school we promote healthy eating and would request your co-operation in encouraging the children to bring healthy nutritious choices in their packed lunches. No fizzy drinks please and biscuits, cakes and crisps should be limited wherever possible. Children are also encouraged to bring a small bottle of water (not juice) to school to keep in the classroom. This bottle will be brought into school each day and taken home each night to be refilled.
