All classes $12 plus $15 ground/admin fee per horse. Except class 23 - $10. All entries www.equestrianentries.co.nz Or DNZ Ungraded Entry Form All riders must have either an annual ESNZ Introductory membership (New - Replaces Community Membership) or ESNZ Children’s Membership (New) or Full ESNZ Membership or pay a casual member fee of $10 per day – paid via equestrian entries when you enter. CLASS 23 Schooling Arena – This is in place of a ‘regular’ class – for those wanting ‘arena time under show conditions’ to assist with training of their horse or pony. You'll have a maximum 10 minute time slot to work in the arena, with no judge. All conditions (including Turnout/attire of horse/rider and equipment use) apply as per competition classes for the event. Entries on the day accepted for this class only. Conditions: • • • • • • •

All classes are run under DNZ Rules & ESNZ GR rules. All classes are training. All tests from the 2013 Official Dressage Tests Book. Tests may be called and whips may be carried. It is the intention of the committee that beginner classes 1, 2, 5 & 6 are for beginner combinations that have little dressage and competition experience. No prize money. Rosettes/ribbons only. Series prizes will be awarded by Methven Equine Centre. The committee reserves the right to alter, delete or combine classes. Entries will not be accepted without the full entry fee and ground fee, to be paid by closing date. No telephone or email entries. Scratchings: Please notify Nicola Sim, 021 189 0771, or [email protected]. 80% will be refunded with a vet/farrier/doctors certificate provided within 7 days of the event. Jackets/plaiting optional, tidy attire is required and a tagged helmet to be worn at all times when mounted. PC uniforms are welcome. All riders ride at own risk. St John will not be in attendance. No liability will be accepted in the event of any accident to horse, rider, spectator or property. All horses on the grounds are to wear ID tags at all times when not mounted. Riders are asked to please clean up around their vehicles – a trailer/loader will be provided for manure/hay. All Ashburton Area riders are asked to please complete the assistance form. Dogs are to be on a leash at all times and are NOT permitted in the competition area. Payments are required by the closing date, failure to do so will exclude you from the draw.

ASSISTANCE FORM FOR ALL MID CANTERBURY RIDERS

Ashburton Area (Mid Canterbury) riders are required to fill in the form below with which task you can help with. If you are unable to assist yourself please try and supply a substitute. Please tick which task you can help with. The tasks asterisked * are the areas where we have the most difficulty in getting support. Your help would be much appreciated. By filling out this Task form, it is assumed that you will carry out the task nominated – you will not be contacted for confirmation. It is your responsibility to carry out the task. The exception is those who have offered to write for a judge or to help monitor the schooling arena. Writers will be notified with your time to write. Arena helpers will be contacted.

Ashburton Area Riders please provide a plate for the judges. All riders that live in the Mid Canterbury District are required at the Working Bee on the Saturday at 9.30am please. If you can’t be there please help at the end of the competition to take them down. Please support your local Group. We are a small committee and in order for competitions to continue we need your assistance. Thank you
