AYSO Board Minutes January 8, 2018
In attendance: Josh Wakefield, Dana Wakefield, Susie Barton, Hope Saylor, Scott Saylor, Enzo Marin, and Lisa Marin
Personnel: *Vote in Rose Fisher as Concession Stand Coordinator yes-7, No-0 *Board Vacancies- Referee Administer- Lisa will contact Bobbie Jo Reed
Finance *Current balance- $2,911.32 *Items owed- none *Spending suggestion- Board decided on opening accounts with the possible use of Paypal to create open shopping carts, we will continue to discuss this. Enzo feels there is no need to rush due to having a small region. *Blue Sombrero FAQ on new finance system / Banking Tie in *Must have: EIN, Routing and account numbers *Susie will be primary contact for invoicing, etc. *ARB Discussed (low income families) Board decided to discuss on a situation by situation basis *Board decided to go with a two payment option for families wishing to do so. First payment per child will be $33.75 upon registering and a second payment of $16.25 automatically taken out on March 16, 2018.
Website/Registration *Online registration: predicted to be more user friendly than last year. *Multi registration discounts- Board agreed to multi registration discounts for siblings registering with the same address. $50.00 for first child, $ 45.00 for any child after. *Encourage parents to register children before registering as a volunteer.
*Soft registration by board members will be open until Jan. 22, 2018. (Meeting at the Marin’s home on January 22, to iron out any registration “bugs”.) This was a success. *Open registration advertisements and dates: Registration will be open from January 23, 2018-February 28, 2018 (tentatively) as part of advertisement. Actual closing- March7, 2018. Date for a public, hands on registration? Date needs to be set. Will take place at Bubba’s with permission to use their wifi. * Player eligibility- BS categorizes divisions based on age. Will decided on a player’s eligibility to move up divisions case by case. We will have U6- U16 divisions at this time. More on U19 at a later date.

*NAP has all of our deposits and payouts, highly transparent *Possibility of sending members to training for all areas of the BS system, More education is available through BS.

*Lisa will post on Facebook, contact Broad Top Bulletin, and request firehall sign. Lisa will also call for a total number of elementary kids plus fifth and sixth grade students. *Josh and Dana will print and deliver plus extras to hang around the high school. *Josh to check on ACA *****Date for public registration *****U19 division
