First order of business is to elect 2014 directors for both cheer and football. Patricia Wilkerson is the only candidate for cheer director. Eddie Dilbeck is the only candidate for football director. Patricia Wilkerson and Eddie Dilbeck are both confirmed by majority vote.
Pee Wee football coach - Jason Kelly & Kevin Breeden are the candidates. Jason Kelly confirmed by majority vote.
Motion made by Jason Kelly to approve his coaching staff, seconded by Chris Perry. Pee Wee assistant coaches - Josh Cate, Darrin Breeden, James Clevenger, Scott Schroeder, Bo McKinzie and Kevin Breeden are all confirmed by majority vote. Ginger McCampbell is also confirmed by majority vote as Pee Wee team mom.
Super Grasscutter football coach – Kevin Potts qualified for position by advancing to super bowl in 2013 per by our by-laws. Kevin Potts is confirmed by majority vote. Super Grasscutter assistant coaches – Not yet submitted.

Grasscutter football coach – Anthony Gockenbach & Brent Tallent are the only candidates. Anthony Gockenbach is confirmed by majority vote. Grasscutter assistant coaches – Robbie McMahan, Levi Boggs, Wes Lane, Brent Tallent and Drew Taylor are all confirmed by majority vote. Crystal Tallent is also confirmed by majority vote as Grasscutter team mom.
Grasscutter cheer coach - Emily Stewart is the only candidate. Emily Stewart is confirmed by majority vote. Grasscutter Cheer assistant coaches – Brandi McDaniels, Melisa Ratliff, Shelly Adkins, Cassie Carr and Kaylee Ratliff are all confirmed by majority vote.
Super Grasscutter cheer coach- Corrie Slagle is the only candidate. Corrie Slagle is confirmed by majority vote. Super Grasscutter Cheer assistant coaches – Not yet submitted.
Pee Wee cheer coach – Sarah Church is the only candidate. Sarah Church is confirmed by a majority vote. Pee Wee Cheer assistant coaches – Not yet submitted.
All head coaches were informed that it was their responsibility to coordinate their respective team’s float and decorations of the float for the Dandridge Christmas Parade.
Darrin Breeden & Scott Schroeder informed the board that a helmet inventory had shown that we would need to either replace or recondition approximately 50 helmets. After discussion it was decided we would send 16 in the best condition back to be reconditioned and replace the others.
Darrin Breeden made a motion to set sign up dates as follows o February 22nd Pee Wees o March 3rd Supers o March 8th Grasscutters Chris Perry seconded. Motion approved by majority vote.
Financial statement was presented to the board by Melinda Breeden. Current balance in checking is $21,317.30. (Prior to meeting the by law mandated January financial audit was conducted by V.P. Scott Schroeder and Treasurer Melinda Breeden. Audit found no irregularities.)
Discussion regarding the content and timing of our sign up flyers for the schools and our ad in the Standard Banner. Decided to send out flyers the week of 2/17/14.

Discussion regarding adding more bleachers to the visitors side of field. Decided that the cost per seat was excessive and that the board would shelve the idea for now.
Discussion regarding the new state laws regarding concussions and its impact on our program.
Discussion regarding the need to replace some of our smaller sized shoulder pads. Motion made by Eddie Dilbeck to purchase up to $2,500.00 in replacement shoulder pads. Seconded by Jason Kelly. Motion approved by majority vote.
