Dear Parents/Carers Sports Day - Tuesday 7th June Sports day is fast approaching and we would like to invite you to attend the event. Sports day this year is taking place on Tuesday 7th June. Your child should come dressed in their PE kit and their colour item of clothing. They will not be expected to change, so you do not need to provide them with their uniform. In the morning, the children undertake various team sports in their classes and earn points for both the activity and teamwork. In the afternoon, we would like to invite you to join the children for a picnic lunch followed by the traditional races. Lunch will begin at 12.00pm and we expect to finish the afternoon within normal school hours. Please can you also ensure that your child has a named water bottle in school for Sports day and if it is hot you will need to provide your child with a sun hat and sun cream. Again this year, the PTA will be providing the children with an ice lolly at the end of the afternoon. Please inform your child’s class teacher if you do not want your child to have a lolly.
