Ballard H.S Unified Soccer
Seattle Unified Soccer League Seattle Public Schools and Special Olympics Washington are once again offering the Seattle Unified Soccer League (SUSL) beginning Febraury 27th. Teams are once again being developed at each of the Seattle High Schools with opportunities to compete in a league, regional competition and state competition. Practices begin February 27th (during the week) with league play on Saturday’s in April and May. Each team will be representing their own high school and will be competing against each other in the SUSL. All teams in the SUSL will qualify to compete at the regional competition held at Starfire Complex in Tukwila in the middle of May. Teams competing in the regional competition will also have the opportunity to qualify for the state Summer Games at Ft. Lewis on June 1‐2 to compete for a state championship. Unified Sports® Special Olympics Unified Sports® brings together athletes with and without intellectual disabilities to train and compete on the same team. Thoughout the year, in a variety of sports ranging from basketball to soccer to figure skating, Unified Sports athletes improve their physical fitness, sharpen their skills, challenge the competition and have fun, too.
