Use four 8” round layers to build skirt. Using Circle Cutter #11161, cut a hole in the center of each layer. Stack cake layers, placing a layer of icing in between each layer. Place doll next to cake to measure cake height. If cake height does not reach top of tube, add another 8” round layer. Trim cake so layers are tapered and form a bell shaped bottom as shown. Press the cake down and make sure all the crumbs are adhered to the cake. This will make your icing easier and a smoother cake. Base ice cake White. Using a plastic poly collar, smooth icing. Insert DecoSet® doll into tube and place in cake. Using tip #070, pipe Princess Pink #11808 ruffles at base of cake as shown. Cut and apply Pastel Blue Fondant DecoShapes® Strips #18155 to skirt of cake as shown. Using tip #104, pipe White swag above bottom ruffles as shown. Using tip #2, pipe Violet #9536, Princess Pink #11808, Sunset Orange #9530, Lemon Yellow #9537, Red Red #9534, Neon Green #9640, and Royal Blue #9525 sprinkles over entire skirt as shown. Using tip #4, pipe Lemon Yellow #9537 dots at bottom of cake as shown. Using tip #070, pipe Princess Pink #11808 ruffle at waist. Using tip #104, pipe White and Princess Pink #11808 ruffles at waist. Using tip #1, pipe Lemon Yellow #9537 dots at top of cake as shown. Place DecoSet® ring and Lollipop DecoPics® #16266 as shown. Place warning sticker on outside of cake box.
