Corban University
Corban’s Head Coach Jeff McKay is in his third season with the Warriors. McKay has an exceptional career, with 40 years of professional baseball experience as a player, coach, and scout. In addition to his responsibilities at Corban, McKay partially owns and is Vice-President/Scouting Director of ProScouting, serves on the research team of BioKinetics, Inc., and is the founder of Baseball Northwest.

Coach Jacob Garsez
Corban’s infield and defensive coach, Jacob Garsez, is in his second season with the Warriors. His career resume marks three seasons as Head American Legion coach in Idaho, and one season as head coach of Caldwell High School’s varsity squad, earning him 5A SIC Coach of the Year. Garsez also acts as third base coach, hitting coach, recruiter, and camp director for the Warriors.
Coach Josh Warner
Corban’s outfield and hitting coach, Josh Warner, is in his third year as an assistant coach for the Warriors. Formerly a four-year outfield starter for the Warriors from 07’-10’, Warner has enjoyed reinvesting his time into the program as an assistant coach. Along with his Corban responsibilities, Warner is the Director of Operations for Baseball Northwest.
Corban’s assistant coach, J.D. Judd is in his first year with the Warriors. Judd’s role is helping foster the talents of the pitchers and catchers. Before coming to the Warrior program, Judd played three years at Clarke University in Dubuque, Iowa, and then returned to coach for two more years focusing on pitching, catching, and defensive aspects of the game. He continued to coach in Iowa for the River Valley League, leading his team to become champions and earning the coaching position for the league’s all-star team.

professional instructional base, designed to help athletes of all ages maximize their performance on the field. Athletes attending Corban University baseball camps will have the opportunity to work with the coaching staff and current Warrior baseball athletes.
CAMP DEScRiPTiONS Pitching/Catching Camp Pitchers will be filmed and personalized instruction will be provided. Pitchers will be taught: • How to maximize their potential by improving their pitching mechanics • Drills to help improve mechanics • How to throw different pitches • the important aspects of strength & conditioning Catchers will be filmed and personalized instruction will be provided. Catchers will be taught the fundamentals for: • Blocking, receiving, & throwing • The mental side of catching and how to work with pitchers • The important aspects of strength & conditioning
Infield Camp
Hitting Camp
Athletes will be taught infield fundamentals and put through a drill series to help develop consistent and successful infield play. Athletes will participate in a small strength and conditioning portion designed to teach the most important aspects of baseball strength development.
• Develop their swing from the ground up • Create separation and maintain balance in their swing • Successful physical and mental approaches to hitting • Athletes are filmed and specific instruction is provided based off of their film
