In six seasons at LSUE Coach Willis has compiled a 275-80 record and has never finished ranked lower than 7th in the country. During his tenure as the Bengal coach he has received four ABCA Diamond Regional Coach of the Year Awards, four NJCAA Region 23 Coach of the Year Awards, three NJCAA Central District Coach of the Year Awards, a Louisville Slugger Coach of the Year Award, and two NJCAA National Coach of the Year Awards. The 2008 season saw the Bengal team capture their 2nd National Championship in the last three years en route to a 5212 record. In 2006 the Bengals captured their 1st National Championship en route to a 52-11 record. In six years, Willis has led the Bengals to 4 Regional Championships, 3 District Championships and 3 World Series appearances. Also every team record has been broken under the leadership of Willis. During the past 6 years Coach Willis has seen 56 of his players move on to four year universities. Willis has had the opportunity in the last 6 years to coach and/or sign 19 players who have been drafted by Major League Baseball. During the same period he has coached 39 All Conference and/ or All-Region Players and 6 All-Americans.

Items to Bring: Glove, Bat, Water Jug, Sack Lunch and Sun Screen
Location & Facilities The camp will be held at Bengal Stadium on the LSUE Campus. In case of rain, the campsite will be moved into the Bengal Gymnasium. All Campers should be dropped off by 8:45 am and picked up promptly each day at 3:00 pm. Lunch will take place every day from 11:45 am -12:30 pm. All campers must provide their own lunch. No camper is allowed to leave for lunch unless accompanied by parents.
Willis’ camp curriculum is designed to teach all the necessary skills of baseball in a kinetically proven system that will bring each player to a higher level of play. The camp will include games, contests, prizes and an overall positive experience that will turn players onto the game of baseball like never before.
