HSYAA Baseball, Softball & T-Ball OPENING DAY May 7, 2016 TEAM CHALLENGE: Food Drive On Opening Day all HSYAA Baseball & Softball Teams are challenged to bring non-perishable FOOD ITEMS to be donated to the FOOD PANTRY NETWORK SERVING LICKING COUNTY. Our Goal is 1000 lbs of Food! Please join us in this NATIONAL COMMUNITY FOCUS: FIGHT HUNGER! There are PRIZES for the ball team who donates the most pounds of food on opening day: Each player on the winning team will receive a sports bottle and a gift card to DQ and the winning Head Coach and Assistant Coach will each receive a $50.00 gift card to a local restaurant of their choice.

What is the National Community Focus? It’s a combined effort. It’s doing more, together. It’s battling a nationwide problem on a local level. It’s estimated that 1 in 7 Americans don’t know where their next meal is coming from, and that’s why WoodmenLife is stepping up and making fighting hunger our first-ever National Community Focus (NCF). As a charitable organization, WoodmenLife has a long history of giving back and helping others. We believe that when our more than 700,000 member customers and 900 chapters join together with organizations and ind ividuals in their communities, we can truly be a powerful force for positive change in the fight against hunger across America.

HELP FIGHT HUNGER BY BRINGING YOUR FOOD DONATIONS TO THE WOODMENLIFE TENT ON OPENING DAY
